1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Future Canvas ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

Future Canvas is operated by Create Courageously ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Create Courageously.

2. Description of Service

Future Canvas is an AI-powered creative coaching platform designed for creative professionals. The Service provides:

• AI-generated coaching conversations based on your Future Self profile
• Daily check-ins and progress tracking tools
• Journaling and reflection features
• Streak tracking and achievement badges
• Educational content and resources

The Service is for educational and professional development purposes only. It is not therapy, medical treatment, legal advice, or financial planning.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Future Canvas. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

4. Account Registration

To use Future Canvas, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

5. Subscription and Payment

5.1 Free Trial

New users receive a 3-day free trial. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, you will be prompted to subscribe to continue using the Service.

5.2 Subscription Fees

After the free trial, Future Canvas costs $12.95 per month. Subscription fees are billed monthly and automatically renew unless you cancel.

5.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

5.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

5.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be grandfathered at their current rate for at least 90 days after any price increase.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Future Canvas only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the Service to harm, harass, or impersonate others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content from the Service without permission
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

Future Canvas and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by Create Courageously and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in Future Canvas, including your Future Self profile, journal entries, and check-in data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

7.3 AI-Generated Content

Conversations with your AI Future Self are generated based on your personal profile and input. While you own your input, the AI responses are generated by third-party AI services (OpenAI) and are subject to their terms of service.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of Future Canvas is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your personal information and maintaining the confidentiality of your journal entries and conversations.

Key privacy commitments:

• Your journal entries and conversations are private and visible only to you
• We never sell your personal data to third parties
• You can export or delete your data at any time
• Platform administrators do not access individual user content except when required by law

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

9.1 Not Professional Advice

FUTURE CANVAS IS AN EDUCATIONAL TOOL, NOT A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE. The Service does not provide:

• Mental health therapy or counseling
• Medical diagnosis or treatment
• Legal advice or representation
• Financial planning or investment advice

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or medical emergency, immediately contact emergency services (911 in the US) or a crisis hotline.

9.2 AI Limitations

The AI coaching feature uses machine learning technology, which may occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate responses. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or appropriateness of AI-generated content. You use AI coaching at your own discretion and risk.

9.3 No Guarantees of Results

While Future Canvas is designed to support your creative and professional development, we make no guarantees regarding specific outcomes, income, sales, or career success. Your results depend on many factors beyond our control.

9.4 Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CREATE COURAGEOUSLY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF FUTURE CANVAS.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Create Courageously, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination:

• Your access to the Service will be revoked
• Your data will be retained for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted
• You may request an immediate data export before deletion

You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and requesting account deletion from your profile settings.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law
